By Nature

Wolves are carnivores. If given a choice on whether to eat meat or vegetables, by nature they will choose to eat meat. Don’t be mistaken though, they also eat vegetables for their digestion.

Humans are sinners. If given a choice whether to choose sin or not, by nature we will choose to sin. Don’t be mistaken though sinners also do good deeds not for our soul’s own good but just as an extension of our own selfishness, for we are dead in our sins.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. We are now a new creation because Jesus is in the business of turning sinners into saints until we wake up one day in His likeness.
